Datascope, a medical devices manufacturer, will pay a special dividend of $1.100 on Oct 15th if you own the stock at market opening on Thursday, September 27. That’s 3.2% of the share price of $34.420. $1/share is a special dividend, with the remaining 10c/share being the company\’s regular quarterly dividend. The amount of the special dividend approximates the net proceeds received by the Company from the sale of the Company\’s investment in Masimo Corporation following that company\’s initial public offering in August 2007.

    Under this company’s news section on E*Trade it lists the ex-div date as October the 1st, which is next monday.

    No, I believe the $1.10 Dividend was ex-dived yesterday.
