I just discovered smart dividend.com and would like to know if you offer any service that would assist me in evaluating the “reit” sectors or a weekly or biweekly basis. Also you do not identify what other services you offer. How do you pay for your web sight. Your dividend information is free - at the moment- but in todays world that can not last. I am willing to pay for uptodate information that can make me competetive in the dividend capture arena. Do not expect to compete with banks and mutual fund managers, just the average little guy like myself. Thanks for any response you might share with me. I am retired pilot both air force and twa. As we say in aviation, keep the blue side up. Lee

Thanks for the offer. It’s only 2 of us here, and we put food on the table by riding up pregnant stocks and down ex-div one, like many on this board it seems. So no plan to offer paid-for services. You’re welcome to click on the Ads on the right, though
I am quite interested in REIT. Many of the stock I trade are indeed REIT. No surprise there. I’d love to hear your thoughs. If you have some content I can publish on SmartDividend, email me at sam at mexicodoc dt com, or you can register and post directly.
Happy trading,

Sam,
In your glossary section, there is an Example at the bottom regarding the ex-dividend date. In that explanation, the date of February 24th comes up in the second paragraph. How does Feb 24th come into play with an ex-dividend date of 8/16?

Sam,
You say “we put food on the table by riding up pregnant stocks and down ex-div one” in your previous post. Is there any way that you could give us some insight as to what you’re specifically buying and selling and the timing of the trades that you’re making?
Thanks,
Steve
