Alberto-Culver will pay a dividend of $25.00 on November 20 to holders as of Friday, November 17. That’s abut half the share price of $51. The special dividend replace the regular 13 cent quarterly cash dividend, and is part of the spinoff of Sally Beauty. In addition to the $25-a-share special cash dividend, you’ll receive one share of the new Alberto-Culver and one share of Sally Beauty (ticker: SBH) for each share of Alberto-Culver held on the closing date.
